Alaina Scarano-Isbouts is a Colorado-transplant, moving out west from New York when she was in elementary school. She attended CU Denver and studied creative writing.
Alaina sometimes feels like she grew up on a traveling hockey team… her father, Drew, coached for DU and her brother, AJ, played for a competitive traveling team. The only sport Alaina has ever followed is hockey, and the only team she’s ever supported is the Colorado Avalanche. Her hockey highlights include going to Detroit to watch the Avs school the wings back in 2004, attending Roy’s retirement ceremony, and having the honor of meeting Marek Svatos, Peter Forsberg, John Michael Liles and Jeff Finger.
Alaina is currently married and living in Brooklyn, New York. She hopes to return to Denver and her Avalanche season tickets sometime next year.
