Buffs WR corp just got a lot better

-Drew Suppes

According to The Ralphie Report, former Michigan wide receiver Toney Clemons has announed that he will transfer to the University of Colorado.  The 6’3″, 200lbs sophomore was ranked by rivals.com as the #91 overall player, and #12 best wide receiver in the 2007 commitment class.  Due to NCAA transfer rules, he will have to sit out the 2009 season, but will be elgible to play two seasons for the Buffs.  Clemons made the decision to leave Michigan after coach Rich Rodriguez was appointed head coach, and switched the offense to the spread.  With only 3 scholarship wide receivers on the roster, Dan Hawkins just landed some well needed help.
