A question was posted on our Facebook page pondering whether Shanahan would bring the Super Bowl back to Denver.
I think it could happen for a couple reasons. First the team’s record thus far this year is 8-5 which in not that bad. I understand their Division isn’t the strongest but, a W is a W. Second is the injury factor. The amount of injuries the team has suffered is staggering and the team is still coming out each week and playing. Injuries are sometimes a blessing in disguise but, when you had as many as Denver has it is hard for a team to recover due to the mental factor. Third, they have a lot of good luck at the right time. I have long believed that you make your luck. You had to work hard enough to into a position where one lucky play can make the game for you. For the reasons listed above I can say we have a reasonable chance at seeing a Super Bowl in Denver under Shanahan’s watch. Others outside of Denver might disagree but, I am sticking to thoughts.

In the next 5 years, I think Denver will win at least 2 Super Bowls.
I like the ambition Jon. I am not as optimistic but, I am glad to see some people are. Personally I would be very happy to have two good play-off runs, let alone two Super Bowls.
